Fascinating Dark Ages Historical Site
We had a great local guide who explained the historical significance of this small island on an island. It is believed that the Picts considered this area sacred, but the artifacts are from the time ...
Such a shame that it is so overgrown and you cannot really appreciate the site. It is peaceful and a nice place but would be so wonderful if this site could be excavated, looked after and saved.

Fascinating
Excellent historic site. Many chiefs buried here, of the MacNichol clan. Quiet. Free parking close to the burial ground.
Ancient cemetery outside Portree Skye
Easy access to an ancient burial ground. Overgrown markers and effigies added to the feeling of a graveyard forgotten.
Interesting but neglected site
A very interesting place. Sadly neglected but still worth a wander around. Parking nearby on a lane.
Beautiful but disappointing
