it was near the end of the matsukawa promenade.
Original Text
Near the end of the Matsukawa promenade, there was a large stone in front of crossing National Highway 135 and there was an inscription of the needle monument facing the Okawa. It was explained that the Ashi monument was built in 1948 year in honor of the verses of W. Adams and wishing for international goodwill. It's an old monument. In front of this monument, there was a tile painting depicting the state of shipbuilding, and a monument of Ashiondo on the back. Near this monument is the Edo Castle Castle Stone, and is the monument here made of Izu stone?

There was a large stone monument beside the promenade of Kawaguchi Park on the river across Nagisa Bridge, and another statue was scattered in the Ashi Memorial Park beside the tourist hall. I think it is recommended to follow the footprints of Miura Ashine, who drifted to the Reefde and lived a turbulent life.

It is located on foot from the station and across the coast to Nagisabashi. It is a bust commemorating the achievements of William Adams, an Englishman who built Japan's first Western-style sailing ship. There were several other statues next to it.
