Mabunjin Hill is the place where the war ended in Okinawa. The slightly elevated area on the south side of the vast Peace Memorial Park was called "Mabunjin Hill". About 50 memorial towers were erected in the hills, including the National Okinawa War Dead Cemetery and the memorial towers of each prefecture.

I visited on the last day of my trip to Okinawa. Many people died here during the war on the mainland of Okinawa during World War II. The park is in good condition, but you can feel a considerable distance when you walk. There are memorial monuments for each prefecture throughout Japan, and the Shimamori Tower is also here. It is a place where you want to pray peacefully.
June 23rd is the anniversary of the end of the war in Okinawa and is a memorial day. I heard that Mabunjin Hill is a considerable fierce battlefield because there was the last headquarters. I went to clean up so that the feelings of the dead calmed down. Many people came with the same feelings.
