Interesting stop on the way to Iwaki
This lighthouse is also a museum. After a climb one reaches the lighthouse which is situated on a cape. As it is a museum one has to pay an entrance fee. The view from the top is worthwhile the climb.
The view from the lighthouse is good. It's my favorite place

It is a place where you can see a wonderful view. By the time you reach the lighthouse, you will climb the hill. There are many stairs, which is painful for me, who is nearly 55 years old, but I was tired of seeing the wonderful view from the lighthouse. You can also walk up to the lighthouse. I was able to see 360 views of the sea and land. The weather was nice on this day, and I thought I could see all the beautiful colors of nature, the blue of the sky and the sea, the white of the waves, the green of the mountains. Great ...
It is a chalk lighthouse standing on a cliff 73m above sea level on the Usuiso coast. It was opened in 1899 and is one of the only 16 "climbing lighthouses" nationwide. This lighthouse became famous for the lyrics "Cape of Shioya" of the late Hibari Misora's masterpiece "Midare Hair". From the relationship, I was asked, "Do you know the cape of Hibari Shioya?" A monument of "Midare Hair" is erected in the square at the entrance of the lighthouse, and the song of Miss Hibari is playing.
