    Cranes galore

The shrine boasts the largest bell, but the statues of the cranes are far more interesting. Worth visiting because it diverts from your usual temple impression.

    Original Text

About 15 minutes walk from Nishi Izumi Station. The company name seems to be correct for "﨑" instead of "Saki". 12 ~ Founded around the 13th century. Relocated to its current location during the civilization year (1469 ~ 1487). The deities are Emperor Ojin, Empress Jingu, and Takeuchi Sukune. The first torii gate at the entrance to the approach was built in 1928 and the second torii gate was built in 1971. At the Zuijinmon (built in 1998), the largest bell in Japan, which is covered with bronze gold leaf and weighs 5 tons, is hung. The shrine building was built in 1980, but it was ... in the typhoon in 2015.
