Longtan Mountain is a majestic mountain, which is in the shape of a crouching dragon and runs from west to east. The peaks and peaks of the west road are steep and rise from the ground; the east road stretches far away and disappears among the mountains. There is a spring on the mountain that accumulates water into a pool, which is called "Longtan", hence the name of Longtan Mountain. Longtan, commonly known as the Water Prison, is the reservoir of the ancient city in northern Xinjiang. Dengfeng overlooks, Jiangcheng has a panoramic view. There is an ancient city site in the Bohai Sea period on the mountain, and there are mountain city walls, "water prisons" and "dry prisons". The city wall is built with rammed earth and gravel along the ridge by virtue of the mountain. The wall is 10 meters high and only 1 meter short. The width of the city wall is 1 to 2 meters, and the width of the base is about 10 meters. The circumference is 2396 meters. There is a gate to the south and north of the mountain city, and there are observation decks on all sides. "Water Prison", also known as "Longtan", is located in the lower part of the northwest corner of the mountain city. It is rectangular in shape, 22.8 meters long from east to west, 125.75 meters wide from north to south, and more than 9 meters deep. Longtanshan Park is built on the mountain. It is a scenic park in Jilin City and one of the urban forest parks with better natural ecological protection in my country.
