Jiuquan Drum Tower

The Bell and Drum Tower is located at the intersection of East Street and West Street in Suzhou District, Jiuquan. It is similar to other cities in the Hexi Corridor. Jiuquan Drum Tower is located in the center of the Fourth Street of the Old Town, Suzhou District, Jiuquan City. According to the "Xiliang Old Things", the Drum Tower was originally the East Gate Building of Fuyi County, Jiuquan County, Dongjin Shijiuquan County, and was the East Gate Building of Fuyi City, which was renovated by Jiuquan Taishou Xie Ai in the first year of Liang Yongle (346). The Qing Tongzhi four years (1865) was burned by mutiny, Qing Guangxu 31 years (1905) to renovate three-story wooden buildings.

Located in the center of Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, the ancient name is "Yucheng", where the guard of the city is more patrolling, reporting, and preventing flood alarms. The existing Drum Tower was rebuilt in Guangxu in 31 years, and the four doors are written as "Beitong Desert", "Nanwang Qilian", "Dongying Huayue", and "Xida Yiwu".
