Really Cool
This museum is small, but gives a great overview of the gold rush / mining and the story of Juneau / how the town and area came into being and why they were important. My kids enjoyed playing with the...
Close, but no cigar
I believe we paid $5 to enter. There aren’t many artifacts but we loved the video about the gold rush in Juneau. Short of the video there wasn’t much to see.
Great smaller museum
Beautiful museum with a nice mix of temporary and permanent exhibits. Excellent choice for a visit to Juneau.
Nice addition to visiting the state museum
Nice museum to visit after you have visited the Alaska State Museum. Contains more details on the people and history of Juneau and its part in the evolution of the state.
Friendly , knowledgeable staff, good displays
This gave us a great overview of the area, history, and tips on interesting things to visit in the area. Don't miss the movie presentations either - very informative.
