2026 Global 100 - Best Things to Do
󱔒Mountain climbing
110***22110***22The Jungfraujoch is a must-see destination in Switzerland, with its perpetual snow-capped peaks and sea of clouds, creating a breathtaking spectacle. The large elevator car that ascends the Eiger Peak seats 25 people, and the view below is breathtaking, with cabins scattered across the verdant grasslands, surrounded by lush forests. The scenery is breathtaking, and every angle offers a breathtaking spectacle. The train to the Top of Europe is an articulated vehicle that travels through caves, so it's not particularly impressive. Some areas may not be open seasonally. I took my two daughters and some other climbers and adventure enthusiasts up a nearly two-kilometer snowy trail, but once we reached the summit, there was no way back. We were exhausted. We found out later that this was some kind of summer attraction, closed in October. The staff didn't even bother to check when we left. It's truly open, killing the curious. 😓

VanjaiVanjaiThe cable car is so stable and the atmosphere on the mountain is great. There are different things to do in different seasons. In addition, the sky is very straight. People who are not afraid of heights must try to check in. The nature is really beautiful.

SUNSHINE ONUSSUNSHINE ONUSSnow Lang is a famous mountain peak in the Swiss Alps, at an altitude of 2970 meters. It is a great place to see the Alps, with spectacular views of more than 200 peaks in the Alps, including the most prestigious Junfrau, Mönch and Eiger, on a clear day. Lunch at the 360-degree rotating panoramic restaurant on the top of the snowy mountain is the world's first revolving restaurant built on the top of the mountain, rotating around its axis every 45 minutes for a week. Very recommended snowy mountain view.

我是水晶我是水晶Paragliding in Interlaken is a popular sport among local tourists (especially European tourists). In every corner of Interlaken, looking towards the Jungfraujoch, you can always see paragliders floating in the sky around the Jungfraujoch like dandelions. I personally think paragliding is a game for the brave. Anyway, I don’t dare to play it. I can only watch and envy.

_TI***wy_TI***wyThis was the only website where I could get the Lats Supper tickets couple of days before the visit. Confirmation took about a day and we got our tickets. You should do everything as it is written on the ticket. I am glad that I was able to see this masterpiece in real life. 😊

横竖是二温小迪横竖是二温小迪It only takes 45 minutes to get from Grindelwald to Jungfraujoch by express train. You can also enjoy many beautiful views along the way. The Jungfrau Railway was planned in 1893, and it was not until 1912 that the highest railway station in Europe was finally opened. The construction cost a total of 16 million Swiss francs. So it is understandable that the price at the entrance of Jungfraujoch is so expensive.

横竖是二温小迪横竖是二温小迪The last boat from Interlaken East Station to Lake Brienz was at 15:07, and when we went there, the boat had just left. The staff taught us to take the bus to Brienz, and then catch the boat at 16:40, and take the boat from Brienz back to Interlaken. We bought a second-class Swiss pass, which allows free boat rides. There are not many seats in the second-class cabin, but there are more open-air seats. If you are afraid of the cold, you can get on the boat earlier. I sat in the restaurant at first and thought I had to consume, but after sitting for a while, I realized that there was no mandatory requirement.

我不是李亚鹏我不是李亚鹏The Ice Palace of the Jungfraujoch is 30 meters below the Aletsch Glacier, the longest glacier in Europe. It is filled with various realistic animal ice sculptures, silently telling the history of the glacier. The Ice Palace is located 20 meters below the Jungfraujoch Observation Deck. This glacier tunnel is a cave-like room and hall with crystal clear ice sculptures of various shapes, which are very interesting. Because the ground is also ice, you have to walk slowly in the Ice Palace, and some places are still a bit slippery. At the end of the Ice Palace is the outdoor observation deck of the Jungfraujoch. After adapting to the temperature in the Ice Palace, you will not feel the cold outside.

NachtischNachtischThe town of Spiez on Lake Thun is an absolutely charming place to visit. It is backed by mountains, faces vineyards and, most magnificently, is crowned by a splendid castle. The Niederhorn mountain range above the lake stretches all the way to the Bernese Alps, creating a magnificent panorama. The mild climate and bright sunshine make it an ideal starting point for exploring the many famous tourist attractions in the Bernese Oberland or Valais. Spiez Castle is a highlight here, as is the castle gardens. From the castle, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the lake and the surrounding area. Likewise, a detour to the castle church is worthwhile. There are many hiking and cycling trails around Spiez. In addition, the neighboring cities of Thun and Interlaken are also great for day trips. Last but not least, the Bernese Oberland is easily accessible from Spiez.
