It is a vast natural forest park surrounding the dam lake created by the Yukitanigawa Dam, and the symbol is a windmill with a height of 16 meters and a diameter of 20 meters of feathers. In addition, you can see the lush natural landscape from the 154-meter-long red suspension bridge over the dam lake. Since I visited at the end of June, hydrangea was in full bloom.

A park next to the Yukitanigawa Dam. The park is new even though the dam looks old. There are 2 ～ 3 parking lots, from symbolic windmills, tulip fields, and grounds to campsites. There is an observatory on the opposite bank connected by a suspension bridge, but the view was not good because of the trees.

森林公園プラスアルファ

主要道から少し離れてアクセスし難いです。途中右手前にピーク時対策か砂利敷駐車場がありますが、最奥の総合案内施設まで進んだ方がベター。木炭資料室や岩手窯が置かれています。土足厳禁。ダム湖沿いの森林公園＋運動公園的位置付け。オランダ風車が目印。隣はチューリップ園。２０１６年５月１日～１５日おとな３００円。それ以外は無料か。ハ○ステンポス的施設を意識したのか定かではありません。

入場料を取るのに、入場料を払わなくても見れてしまうチューリップ。 どうせなら、ちゃんと囲って欲しい(笑)　予想より非常に小さな規模のチューリップ畑でした・・・でも綺麗でした
