We spent more than an hour in the museum with 2 teenagers who showed real interest. It's not too long for them to lose patience and its interesting enough to keep them awake.... the staff is very nice...
This is moderately large museum with well presented displays focussing on the history of the local area. I came away feeling I'd learned something new.
It contains several archeological findings not only from ancient city of Kavala, Neapolis, but also from other regions. Really significant are the golden jewellery from cemeteries of Amphipolis 300 b....

Fascinating
