The five-color marsh located on the Gang Latte Plateau (or Li Gang Latte) consists of several lakes with different water colors. These large or small lakes are silted up when the Gang Latte volcano erupts and the water is mixed with different concentrations of minerals reflected by sunlight. Different colors of water from JR Pig Miaodai Station take a 30-minute bus to the entrance of the "Five-color Marsh Nature Exploration Road". This trail is curved and undulating.
