It is a small ski resort just across the railroad crossing of the Semmo Line. The slopes are sufficient at the intermediate level. The snow quality is good and well maintained. It's an east-facing slope, so it's okay to tighten the snow in the morning. There is green hot water on the other side of the railroad track, so it's a good idea to warm up in the hot spring on your way home.
