We came upon this water dispenser rather randomly, we had no idea what it was at the time. It reminded us of a giant samovar.

This is a water dispenser. There were 6 of them, their construction and operation were financed by a rich local merchant Shevlyagina, that's why they got such name. Then they all were dismantled, but...

Maria Shevlyagin has financed the construction of a water pipeline in the city. In April, water was not connected after the winter.
