A historic shrine loved by the locals

    Original Text

It is located in the city and seems that locals are worshiping by passing by. It's not wide, but you can feel the history. Tsurugi Shrine, which enshrines the god of Musubi, is said to be revered as a shrine for Kumagai Soshin. It seems that the womb will be passed through in June. There was a stone statue of a turtle.

A shrine where the shrine building rebuilt in the Edo period remains

    Original Text

Takashiro Shrine was built in the Nara period, but when Shinobu Castle was attacked, Takishiro Shrine was also damaged and the shrine was destroyed by fire, and the current shrine miraculously escaped the Kumagai air raid in the Edo period. Feel the history of the rebuilt shrine is. It's usually quiet, but when festivals such as the womb passage in June and the Tori no Ichi in December are held, it becomes very lively.

Tokiya light (cultural property designated by kumagaya city)

Takashiro Shrine is about a 15-minute walk from JR Kumagai Station. I worshiped early in the morning when I stayed in Kumagai in November. A large stone torii welcomes worshipers. In the precincts, there is a night light, a tangible folk cultural property designated by Kumagai City. It is a historic shrine built in the early Heian period and was said to have been the total guardian of Kumagai-go. The deity is the mythical god "Kokosan Reison". It is said that Masayoshi Abe, the Lord of Shinobu Castle, rebuilt it in the fire of 1590. Marriage, easy delivery ...
