Even if it's a park, only parking lot and toilet
Original Text
"Daga soup" is next to the teahouse of the main pass. It is a small park with only a parking lot and a toilet where several cars can be parked, and at the end of the park is a large pot with a diameter of 2m used when making "Changworm" in this area in the past. Also, the signboard is unique, "Please connect here if you come by horse."
A tea house related to Soseki Natsume with a quiet and calm atmosphere!

This is a museum where the teahouse, which is said to have been the stage of "Hey, I called out, but I didn't reply" in the section of Kusamakura of Natsume Soseki, was rebuilt. Certainly, the thatched roof made the inside of the museum a dirt floor and the atmosphere was very good!
It is located on the teahouse Dago soup shop on the pass. There is a museum that restored the teahouse at that time in 1989. Some materials related to Soseki and Kusamakura are on display. I think you can stop by after eating dago soup.
I stopped by on the way back from Mt. Kinmine hiking. I was asked about the place related to Soseki, but I wasn't so impressed, so I healed my thirst and took a rest. If you drive a car a little closer to Kumamoto, it's a big view.
If you climb Prefectural Road 1 toward Tamana, you will reach this pass. This is not the original place, but the atmosphere of the teahouse on the pass is the best. If you go a little further, there is an intersection, and you can go straight toward Tamana. Turn left to reach the top of the mountain. It's nice to take a break here and think about the grass pillow.
