It offers a chance to see some of the native birds. It is a nice, relatively easy stroll around the lake, a big part of it is a wooden boardwalk and there are signs with pictures of the local birds.

　釧路市中心部から少し東側に広がる春採湖。その春採湖の湖岸を一周するウオーキングコースが、春採湖散策コースです。一周４ｋｍあまりのコースですから、歩いておよそ１時間というちょうどよい長さです。 　私たちが訪れたこの日も、多くの市民が思い思いのペースでウオーキングやランニングをしていました。コースの北側半分は春採公園内にあり、季節ごとの野草を楽しみながら歩くことができるのもいいですね。ところどころ...

臨港線の線路跡と保存車両

春採湖の北東側に、道をはさんで、旧臨港線の線路と車両が残ってます。現地の人達は線路撤廃と口揃えて言ったけど、砂利と茂みの陰にようやく見つけました!! 古い地図で見て、春採駅のあった所です。
