The monument to the Ukrainian philosopher, poet and fairy tale Grigory Skovorode (1722-1794) was installed in 1977 on the Contract Square in Kiev.

It was a statue of a man standing in a slender figure. There are no explanations nearby, so I didn't know what kind of person he was. I think it's a good idea to take a look if you have time.
