The ceiling is single-span, with decorative branched window-trimmed vaults. The vaults and tall, slender trunk-like pillars that support the roof create an overall effect that reminds me of the forest. If you are visiting the cloister, be sure to find a viewing area that overlooks the church's interior facing the altar.
