This is a Roman Catholic church in Langres, built in the 12th century. The cathedral is the seat of the Bishop of Langres. The nave and interior are in Romanesque and French Gothic styles, while the later façade is an example of French Neoclassical architecture.
WELL WORTH THE VISIT
We were passing through Langre’s and just had to visit! A stunning piece of architecture which takes your breath away!

Nice interior, better than the outside
This cathedral is a jewel in the crown of Langres. earlier "restorations" didn't improve the outside but the inside is still intact. More than worth the visit.

austere French cathedral
on the cusp of Romanesque and Gothic although well beaten up in the Revolution (no glass, little decoration, cloisters half destoryed).
