Here are my top things to do: 1. GO HIKING 🥾 You can do some incredible hikes in the area it is a perfect spot for outdoor lovers. 2. VISIT GRINDELWALD 🫕 Make sure to visit also Grindelwald which is a beautiful town in the Swiss Bernese alps. Grindelwald has spectacular views of the beautiful Swiss alps and a lot of activities that will guarantee an amazing time here. 3. EXPLORE CAR-FREE WENGEN & MÜRREN 🏔 🐄 These cute mountain villages in the heart of the Bernese Alps are a must visit. Walking in these beautiful villages seems unreal as the spectacular mountains in the background offer a fantastic panoramic view. 4. HEAD TO PIZ GLORIA 🚠 Take the cable car to Piz Gloria at 2970m and enjoy the stunning views from the top. Tip: Book lunch in the famous 360 degree revoking restaurant where a James Bond movie was filmed. How to reach this beautiful place? 🚂 The train from Zurich to Lauterbrunnen takes only approx 2:30 hours (you have to change the train in Interlaken). Lauterbrunnen is also reachable by car in approx 2 hours from Zurich. Most hotels offer parking and there is public parking. #europetrip 📍Rhine Falls, Switzerland Visited the most powerful and stunning waterfall in Switzerland which is Rhine Falls. Rhine Falls is around 30-40 minutes away from the heart of Zurich, but it is totally worth the visit. We bought the tickets to some of the platforms and vantage points to have a closer look of Rhine falls, feeling the roar and vibrations of the fall. Visitors can also choose to take the boat ride tour, which brings you closer to the fall. The panoramic views of the fall from different vantage points were truly phenomenal and amazing! Great place to explore for nature lovers and photographers! Rhine falls is like Niagara Falls of Switzerland, awe-inspiring experience indeed!

We had booked the Red (small) boat trip and loved it. It takes you to opposite pier in 5 mins and then walk up to lookout. The boat would not reach waterfalls closely but it is still very impressive. The trip by boat right in front of the Rhine Falls is highly recommended. Only directly before the roaring floods do you get an impression of the power of the 600,000 liters of water per second, which plunge 23 meters over a length of 150 meters. I recommend the audio guide boat trip which lasts 30 minutes. The facts about the Rhine Falls are very interesting to hear and give a detailed insight into the formation and history. You can make booking online or buy ticket at ticket machine in the pier. Around noon it gets extremely crowded there.
