MoreXiexie Mountain is located in Xiexie Village, 5 kilometers southeast of Liancheng Town, Lianjiang City. Due to its extremely rare resources, Xiexie Mountain is both an ecological protection area and a mysterious tourist area. Visitors can appreciate the various types of wild lychee trees in the forest, climb the strange rocks on the top of the mountain, listen to the moving bird sounds and legends, and taste the sweet and sour mountain branches, which is a great experience of returning to nature.
The origin of the name of Xiexie Mountain is as follows: Yang Qin, a villager from the foot of the mountain, was once an editor of the Imperial Academy of the Ming Dynasty. When he resigned and returned to his hometown, Emperor Zhu Di of the Ming Dynasty gave him a pair of shoes. In order not to forget the emperor's grace, Yang Qin changed the Lion Mountain behind his home to Xiexie Mountain after returning to his hometown, and the name has been passed down to this day. On the mountain is the remains of Yang Qin's study - the Hanlin Stone Chair. It is also said that most of the tribute lychees of the Han and Tang Dynasties were produced in Xiexie Mountain, and the lychees eaten by Yang Guifei were sent by special people and horses from Xiexie Mountain. It is really a lychee mountain that reaches the sky.
