The project "Like a Dream Qikou" is based on the unique human and natural resources of Qikou, with culture as the core, music, dance, poetry and painting as the artistic carrier, high technology as the means, and folk customs as the color, for construction and creation; the performance content is artistically expressed from the four cultural genes of God, ancestors, the older generation, and the common people, combining modern performing arts with traditional heritage, covering the historical process of Qikou for thousands of years, and on the basis of promoting the Yellow River culture, Shanxi merchant culture, folk culture, and red culture, reviewing the prosperity of Shanxi merchants, the struggle, life and love of the children of the Yellow River, and even the victory in poverty alleviation, and other classic moments of history, culture, folk customs and folk customs. It pays tribute to the development of the times and praises the indomitable and hard-working people of Luliang.

The entire project creatively produces the stage background based on the characteristic architecture of Qilin Villa, and builds an open-air revolving stage in the villa as an audience seat. Together with high-tech stage technology and lighting projection matrix, it presents a high-level audio-visual art feast and becomes an immersive cultural tourism project.

After intensive construction and preparation, all work is nearing completion, and the "Dreamlike Qikou" project will officially begin performances on September 28. With the operation of this project, Qikou Ancient Town will become a new landscape business card and a beautiful city reception hall for Luliang City.

The mother Yellow River is like a gorgeous yellow ribbon connecting the pearls on the western edge of Shanxi. It leaves its soul in the land of Shanxi, its beauty in Luliang, and its merchant legends in Qikou. Qikou Ancient Town, the first town of the Nine-bend Yellow River, has witnessed the nourishment of the Yellow River and the development of Luliang.
