Wellington Arch

Wellington Arch, believed to be the largest bronze sculpture in Europe, was greeted by a very friendly and welcoming staff at the small gift shop and briefly introduced the arch, showing wonderful pictures of the arch and its surrounding area, and the chance to see the Wellington boots and swords he fought in.

It is worth buying a ticket for the Appleton Tower and Wellington Arch, which does provide some information about the Battle of Waterloo, especially with thousands of fighters involved in the battle, not just Wellington and Napoleon. The Battle of Iron Lou exhibition is on the third and fourth floors. Although the arches look impressive, the exhibition space is small and the stairs narrow.

Wellington Arch is an important landmark in London, England. It is located on the road from Hyde Park to Buckingham Palace. Every day, the horse riding team passes from here to Buckingham Palace. It is very meaningful to watch the terracotta warriors and horses ceremony every day. The statue on the arch is about twelve meters tall, the largest bronze statue in Britain.

It’s a nice place to see, close to other landmarks, but if you’re limited on time, I wouldn’t go out of my way to see it. It is pretty to see though if you have the time.

In fact, it is a small square, you can see it from the subway station Hyde Park Corner , there are Duke Wellington Memorial Sculpture, World War II Monument, etc., and arches. You can use the London pass to visit the second floor of the arch, because 2015 is the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. There are some memorial murals and exhibitions at the exit of the subway station
