Among the cultural relics, the Neolithic Gansu Yangxu culture Majiayao type of pointed-bottom pottery bottle and double-ear pottery pottery, especially dazzling, unique and beautiful shape, is the soul treasure of Gansu pottery art.

As of 2018, the museum has 6,244 cultural relics in the museum, including 1004 national precious cultural relics. There are more than 20 types of Tibetan varieties. The development history of the museum was established in 1996 and a new museum was built in 2012, located on Guanlonggong Road. The total construction layout covers an area of about 5,000 square meters, and the total construction area is 4808 square meters.
