Korea City was what I expected. Lots of shopping small shops to shop. Great restaurants to eat. We spent a lot of time buying cosmetics and I think I spent more than $200 but I think it was worth it. I wish I had more time to shop.
I love Koreatown very much, everything is related to Korea. I have been to two places in Koreatown. I know you will question whether I have commented on Koreatown's qualifications because I only went to 2 restaurants in Koreatown.
Korean City is a community in downtown Los Angeles, California, concentrated near Eighth Street and West Avenue. Koreans began mass migration in the 1960s, concentrated in the Middle Wilshere area. The area retains many art deco-style historic buildings. This is the most densely populated area in Los Angeles County, with about 120,000 residents living within a square mile of 2.7 square mile. The community is highly ethnically diverse, with half of the residents being Latino and one-third Asian. Two-thirds of the residents were born outside the United States.
