Zhaoqing Temple

Lu'an Zhaoqing Temple was built in the Tang Zhenguan years, more than 1300 years of history, Tang Taizong Li Shimin order the founding father of the emperor Chi Jingde to build the royal temple, Tang Sanzang magistrate Xuan Xuan once in person to speak the scriptures. When Wu Chengen, a novelist in the Ming Dynasty, passed Zhaoqing Temple and heard the stories of Li Shimin and Tang Seng, which inspired the creation of "Journey to the West", so he said "First there is Zhaoqing Temple, then there is a Journey to the West". The temple has been built many times in history. While retaining the original temple style, it has widely absorbed the Buddhist cultural elements of the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing Dynasties, and integrated the architectural style of the Buddhist temples in each dynasty. It is a rare and well-preserved imperial seal temple in the world.
