Jinxiang Beach

It is affiliated to Jinxiang Town, Lufeng County, Guangdong Province. It is located in Qili, the southern suburb of the urban area. Jieshiwan Beach is known as the "Golden Coast of East Guangdong" and is famous for its combination of "God, Sea, Sand and Stone". When the red sun is rising, the sea of Jinxiang becomes a magnificent picture with golden waves, dotted fishing sails, flocks of seagulls, soft sand, harmoniously dissolved in this picture, with a strong poetic and picturesque. This may be the reason why Jinxiang Beach was named. On the 18-kilometer-long "S"-shaped coastline, the headland and the bay are staggered and the scenery is pleasant. The headland includes Jinxiang Cape and Guanyin Ridge. Here, the tide collides with the reef, the shadows of the trees are swirling, and the scenery is beautiful. Looking into the distance, the sea is vast in the distance, the sails are shadowed, and the long and narrow crescent-shaped seaside beach in the headland bay is like a silver crony tied between the green earth and the blue ocean, forming a magnificent scenery of the southern coast and headland. . In spring and summer, Yunzhongju and Qiyun Palace, located on the main peak of Guanyin Mountain, are surrounded by clouds and mist; There are light waves and light waves, and the climate is mild. The average annual temperature is 21.8 degrees Celsius, and the sea water temperature is 25 degrees Celsius from June to September. The sea water is clear, with a transparency of 50 to 90cm. There is no "three wastes" pollution. The tide is regular diurnal tide, the wave height is below 0.4 meters in 9 months of the year, and the average wave height from June to August is 0.7 meters. It is an ideal place for sea bathing, windsurfing, diving yachts and other water sports. The sandy beach is 50 to 70 meters wide. The sand is fine and does not contain gravel and shells. It is soft and does not sink. The subtidal zone is quartz fine sand with gentle waves, and the 2-meter isobath is about 200 meters away from the coast. Therefore, it is called "the golden coast of tourism in eastern Guangdong". There is the famous Water Moon Palace on Guanyin Ridge. It was built in the Ming Dynasty and called "Guanyin Ao Nunnery". It was rebuilt in the 21st year of Daoguang Dynasty in the Qing Dynasty. The buildings include a mountain gate, a worship pavilion, a main hall, a meditation room, etc. It is a two-entry quadrangle courtyard layout. The whole building is handsome and elegant, blending with the scenery of the mountains and the sea. Whenever the sun sets in the west, the bright moon is in the sky, listening to the tide in front of the Shuiyue Palace, like a fairyland in Penglai . This makes Jinxiang Beach have unique stone shores and golden beaches, and has the "natural beauty" to develop seaside bathing beaches and tourist resorts. Among them, the more famous ones are: Dragon Stone, Zhenhai Stone, Longya Stone, Shuangjie Stone, Monk Stone, Penguin Stone, Baijiao, Wujiao, etc. Many stone carvings left by our ancestors are well preserved. Some of the boulders on Jinxiang Beach have the footprints of proletarian revolutionaries, and some are covered with a layer of mystery. Not far from the "Dragon Stone", there is the "Zhenhai Stone" standing proudly. There is a huge rock in the near sea in the shape of a monk chasing a nun. It is said that a monk from Lingyin Temple Yunyou Shuiyuegong had a tryst with the nun. He was discovered by Nanhai Guanyin and punished. Next to Jinxiang Beach, there is the majestic and beautiful Guanyin Ridge, which is like a barrier, adding a scene to the beach.
