☘️ I bought a Luoyang tourism map before departure, and studied the local attractions worth visiting for a long time at night, and accidentally found this Laozi Memorial Hall. ☘️ tangled for a while before departure, because neither a review or travel note was found on Trip.com, nor a phone call for early consultation opening hours. But I went there because of curiosity. ☘️ Laozi Memorial Hall, also known as the Zushi Temple, is located in the bustling and bustling area of North Street in the old city. It was built in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. It has stood quietly for nearly a thousand years. ☘️ into the hall, a statue of Laozi about 2.4 meters high came into view first. The statue is full-faced, with a chic figure and elegant costumes, and there are two "boys" standing next to it. The murals around the hall depict the life of Laozi, including Laozi's birth, worshiping teachers, his history of keeping Tibetans in Luoyang, his writing of "Moral Sutra", and his experience of Xiyuhuguguan. ☘️ Free ID card visit. The memorial hall is not big, it takes only half an hour to turn around, but this is the only and largest Laozi cultural special memorial hall in China. In the past, it was the ancestral temple for Zhenwu Emperor. It was on North Street, the most lively place in the old town.

In order to commemorate the great philosopher and thinker of ancient China, Luoyang City prepared the Laozi Memorial Hall of Luoyang Zushi Temple, a national key cultural relics protection unit on the North Street of the Old Town.
