Loi Wo Temple

Loi Wu (also known as Niwa) Temple is a little known temple situated within a yellow coloured building where Rua da Palha and Rua de S. Paulo meet in the Historic Centre of Macau.You'll see a small shrine with incense and deity figure just in front of the simple temple entrance. Look for the red Chinese characters above the door and you will have found the entrance of the late 19th-century Loi Wu Temple.The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Niwa. Inside you'll find a single small room with a shrine of the goddess. You'll find offerings to the goddess, incense and other traditional temple items on display

On the way to the St. Paul's archway, I saw the Nv'an Temple, a small temple, but a rare cultural building. It is said that the marriage is here. The first time I saw the Nv'an Temple, it was a good Macau travel experience.

Loi Wo Temple is one of many smaller temples scarttered arounf macau, located in the heart of the Historic Centre of Macau. The Loi Wo Temple is quietly located within a pastel-colored building, only recognizable by the Chinese characters and gray stone trim around the temple entrance.
