Kenya’s first church
I find it strange that more is not made of this tiny church. For sure, it was largely ruined for centuries, with just the Portuguese limestone altar and the walls standing. But still, it’s East Africa...
Went to see this piece of history in malindi, well worth a look ,and to visit the small chapel inside the building , lots or graves from the british personnel that wer in malindi from the days.
Interesting to see and hear about the history of this place. Has a small graveyard which is very pretty and well kept too. Surrounded by modern apartments and restaurants it is almost hidden and easy ...

Very informative
You pay for ticket that entitles you to visit the museum, vasco da gama monument and this church. Its a good place to visit.
Historical tour
Lovely quaint site rich in history. A must visit in Malindi dates back to the days of St Francis Xavier.
