I took a day trip to Matosinhos from downtown Porto. Definitely take the 500 bus from Porta - bus fare is so cheap and the ride takes you along the coast, so you get beautiful views of the beaches and surf waves. I grabbed lunch at a tiny Japanese eatery connected to a wet/fish market (fresh sushi and sashimi for only 12 Euros!!!) and booked a coffee class on Airbnb where I learned more about coffee beans, their countries of origin, the roasting process, and tasted some of the best coffees I have ever had in my life!
