It's just a place for locals to take a leisurely walk, although it was a water source in Mumbai long ago (there is a water plant next to it), but it's just a big lake. It's very comfortable to walk by the lake in the evening, but it's not a sightseeing spot. So to come to Mumbai, there is no need to run here to see this lake!

The lake is in a very bad condition. The water is highly contaminated and the weeds are flooding in the lake. Even stinks in some places. There is a sidewalk around but it is not continuous so you can’t walk around. There are green areas including a post but the whole area is dirty and there is garbage everywhere around. Avoid.
If you are someone who seeks lakes in Mumbai, Powai Lake gives you a warm welcome. This man-made lake attracts a number of migratory birds and tourists. This is a historical place has a great garden around it, do visit it as well. One thing, it is totally a pollution-free zone. Glare at the mesmerising sunset and experience serenity in the city.
景观不能算好,但至少不那么压抑。
