Xitou Nature Education Area

This is rich in nature, and you can enjoy a lot from light hiking to hard hiking. It was also a valuable experience to be able to see wild monkeys quite close. This is an experimental forest area managed by Taiwan University. The area is very large. Because the elderly ticket cost is low, the elderly in central Taiwan are attracted to take a bus to climb the mountain every day. They come in in the morning and leave in the evening. They don’t forget to buy some wild vegetables and local specialties at the entrance. The park provides food, drink and accommodation. After reading the price, it is actually not expensive. It is a little higher than the urban area. It is really sincere compared to the tourist area of the suburbs of the Imperial Capital. During the epidemic this year, there were more people coming to climb the mountain. The parking lots of several buses at the entrance after the Spring Festival were full every day. The epidemic prevention was done well and everyone lived happily.

Definitely worth visiting. It's busy, but a little bit more "off-the-beaten path" for foreign tourists. You may see the local monkeys too.
