Hydra

The town of Nineheads is the only town on the island. The port of Nineheads is made up of a crescent-shaped port surrounded by a string of restaurants, shops, markets and galleries. The steep stone streets stretch upwards and outwards from the harbour area.

Ydra is one of the Greek Saroniques, located in the Aegean Sea between the Myrtoan Sea and Argolic Bay. It is separated by a small section of water from the Peloponnesian Peninsula. In ancient times, the island was called Hydrea, referring to the island's natural hot springs.
