    の Palace

    Original Text

I went by myself on the weekend in early February. Recently, there was a tour and it was a very popular spot, so I arrived around 6 o'clock to secure a parking space and was able to park near the trailhead. There was little snow, so I went to the chain spike halfway, and then 10 Eisen. Since it was my first time, I can't compare the size of the year, but the icefall was quite large and powerful. Also, because of the fine weather, the color of the pale and shining ice was beautiful.

    Original Text

In mid-February, I went trekking to the ice corridor on the back mountain of Nikko Toshogu; Unryu Valley. Unryu Valley is a small valley, but from late January to mid February in the midwinter, an ice wall with soaked Iwashimizu frozen on the cliff was completed, is this really Japan? A superb view of the ice that makes you want to think. Access is only walking from Takio Shrine behind Toshogu, and equipment such as Eisen and pickles is required. Information summarize below ...

    Reciprocating about 6 times

    Original Text

It takes about 6 hours to round trip, but the icefall is truly powerful. It's hard because there is no toilet on the way. Since I participated in the tour, I was able to cross the river safely without hesitation.

Winter icefall is a masterpiece! !! Worth going! !!

    Original Text

It is one of the best places I have ever visited in Japan. The midwinter icefall is a masterpiece. It's a different world. I didn't know that there was such a place in Japan. It's really worth going. I'm glad I was prepared with a guide from a mountaineering professional friend. 12 Eisen, winter climbing shoes, and sunglasses to protect the eyes were still essential. If you don't have it, let's rent it. This time I went to ...

15 minutes by taxi from Tobu Nikko Station. Arrived on foot along the mountain stream for two and a half hours. Recently, it has been very popular and passed by many people. It is a superb view that can only be seen in winter.
