I went by myself on the weekend in early February. Recently, there was a tour and it was a very popular spot, so I arrived around 6 o'clock to secure a parking space and was able to park near the trailhead. There was little snow, so I went to the chain spike halfway, and then 10 Eisen. Since it was my first time, I can't compare the size of the year, but the icefall was quite large and powerful. It takes about 6 hours to round trip, but the icefall is truly powerful. It's hard because there is no toilet on the way. Since I participated in the tour, I was able to cross the river safely without hesitation.
