Since the approach is surrounded by trees 々, it is a difficult place to go in the summer (it seems that it is protected as a forest of Mondoten Shrine). The hall of worship is made of concrete. However, on the way to the hall of worship, there is a small shrine with a stone pillar of Tenjingu and a crest of a plum bowl engraved, and I wonder if this is the hall of worship of Tenjin Shrine.
I thought I was climbing the stone steps, and there was a second stone step.

I parked my car at a nearby coin parking lot. After climbing the magnificent stone steps, I went out to the road again, and then there was another stone steps. I didn't count the number of steps, but it seems that it is said to be 100 steps. Tenjin-san, but I can't find cows or plums. According to history, it is said that Tenjin-san is a troublesome person. Then, it is thought that the former 々 was celebrating Shohikona no Mikoto. Sugawara no Michizane is said to be the main deity on the shrine office website.
Mondoten Shrine is located on Mt. Tenjin, about a 10-minute walk from Hankyu Kotoen Station. It is on about 100 steps, so it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes. This shrine is said to be the Ujigami who enshrines the troublesome Tenjin in the area of the gate. There is morisago on the left and right sides of the hall of worship. Morisa is a rare thing that can only be seen in limited shrines such as Kamigamo Shrine and Ujikami Shrine. The guardian dog was also a wonderful shape to feel history. Big Ya ... behind the main shrine

It's not the god of mondo. It is Mondoten Shrine. The atmosphere is nice. And it is said that it is a shrine that enshrines Sugawara no Michizane.
