Don’t waste your money!

We visited the maddermarket for the pantomime the wizard of oz at 14:00 on Saturday 23/12. However I’d just like to express my disappointment in the show…. There was no audience interaction at all and this is why people go to pantomimes for this very reason. He’s behind you….. ohhh nooo he isn’t….. ohhh yess he is… you get my point. The simplicity of laughter was not had. We have been to pantomimes at the maddermarket before which have been wonderful. We feel it wasn’t very child orientated and many were found in the foyer. This has strongly put us off returning next year as I’m sure it will others.

Show was ok but the theatre has seen better days

We went to see the Wizard of Oz. The performances were good and the costumes great, but there was no set so it was difficult to really get invested. The theatre itself is run down and the staff are rude and unhelpful. Considering we paid nearly £20 for a ticket for a show of unpaid amateurs I don't actually know where the money is going.
