Historical buildings such as merchant houses and samurai residences prospered in the silver mine are preserved, and on both sides of the narrow main street are houses with pure Japanese style and retro style such as tile roofs, board walls and lattice doors. It is valuable to preserve the cityscape unifiedly on such a scale. I think it cannot be done without the efforts of the people living and the people concerned.
