Former Bank of Japan
In this area there are many financial institutions. This building, almost 100 years old, used to be Okayama branch of the Bank of Japan. Its classic architecture is quite imposing.

There was this heavy building along the road where the tram runs. It looks like a building of the Bank of Japan Okayama Branch built in 1922. It is now used as a multipurpose hall. I wish I could visit even when there was nothing.

Although it is an old store of the Bank of Japan in various places, this brick (and stone) is also a very quaint building. It looks like it's 100 years old, but the Corinthian pillars in front are especially eye-catching.
