It's a temple of the Soto sect.

It is a temple of the Soto sect. I asked for a memorial service here, so I asked Mr. Kazuhisa to give me a sutra in the large and beautiful main hall. There were bell towers and large kaya trees in the precincts, and the view was good because it was on a small hill. The back of the main hall is a graveyard.

A Soto sect temple located in Fukiage, Ome City, Tokyo. I stopped by after Shiofune Kannon. In the 19th year of the Muromachi period, Masakage Shirookayama Castle was founded by Tenningji 4 Seiseokun as the founder of the temple. The highlight of this temple is "Kaya", a natural monument designated by Tokyo, with a height of 25 m and a trunk 4.6m. There is a free parking lot along Shiroyama-dori, and there is a temple on the hill in front of you. At the entrance to the south side of the parking lot, there is a large temple sign engraved with "Soto sect Honozan Sosen Ji Temple" ...

I stopped by on the way back to see the iris flowers at Fukiage Shobu Park. It's just one bus stop, so it's a short walk. When I went up the stairs, there was a temple and a rare bell tower.
