Orava Castle is the oldest preserved castle in Europe. Here you are able to take either a self guided tour, or a group tour with a guide. I highly recommend taking the tour with a guide as we were able to ask questions and were taken on the best route through the castle. This castle is also the only location in Europe that has preserved garments that are almost 1000 years old. At the highest point of the castle you are able to see beautiful panoramic views of the land below. This is a must see if you are in the area! There is also a great restaurant at the base of the mountain and plenty of little stalls that sell souvenirs.
