It's in the main enclosure of Kanayama Castle.
Original Text
This Nitta Shrine is located on the left side of the Kanayama Castle, which is famous for its stone walls, and climbing the Honmaru site. On the left side is Mitake Shrine, and on the left is Umewaka Inari Shrine. From the right hand of the shrine, I could see the Kanto plain well.
The end point of climbing the mountain of Kanayama Castle. I didn't know that Kanayama was a place related to Yoshisada Nitta. The stone steps on the approach are nice. In the back, you can see the stone wall of the main enclosure of Kanayama Castle, which remains slightly.
At the top of Ota Kanayama Castle, the main enclosure is Nitta Shrine and there is the main shrine. I climbed the stone wall road from the entrance of the watchtower with a parking lot. You can see the Kanto Plain. There was also a wisteria trellis, and flowers were in bloom.
It is a shrine dedicated to Yoshisada Nitta. There is a large zelkova tree over 800 years old in the precincts. It is a spectacular and magnificent zelkova. It is a famous shrine around here.
This is a shrine I stopped by when I had a job in Ota City. It was a large site, but the worshipers were sparse, probably because it was a weekday. It must be familiar locally.
