Watched the Phuket FantaSea show again after more than 10 years — same performance, same high standard, and still just as magical! Truly worth a visit. 💫
It was an amazing show, where you can find not only professional traditional dancers, but acrobatic scenes and trained animals on the stage. Pyrotechnics and electronic effects make this legend of Kamala Prince alive and modern. I arrived just to the time of the show and haven’t explored the environment well, but I noticed that it was quite old and shops around mostly were filled with very cheap stuff, that gives you feeling that you are back in 2000s. But anyway, I recommend the show! P.S.: you can’t take any photos inside of performance hall, they will take your cameras away and store in special storages.
Great experiences show. Enough for spend whole night there.
I went there last night and booked a golden ticket plus a shuttle bus for 340 per person. It was booked by Ctrip. It arrived in 10 minutes from Patong. The driver's driving skills were very skilled. When I arrived at FantaSea, it looked very spectacular from the outside. After entering the park, it was okay inside. I watched the big tiger (the tiger was very lazy and always lay down. I guess it was fed and well treated). The rest of the park was all consumer products. There was an elephant ride product, which was very expensive at 1,000 baht per time. It was not recommended. Then there was the restaurant. You can get food when you book a ticket. You don't need to order a regular meal ticket alone (some words are omitted here). The dining place is really spectacular. It is a big place where you can eat and rest while waiting for the show. The entrance starts at 20:30. No equipment with cameras is allowed to be brought in. Everyone knows. The performance is really shocking, especially when the elephants appear and the cannons are used to attack the city. Children should be careful because they are easily scared. The whole performance is very compact. It didn't feel like an hour. It is recommended to walk faster when leaving, otherwise you have to queue up if you wait for the car outside, but it will only take about 10 minutes to get on the car.
From the moment we walked in the door the show was money, money, money. This kind of show - I've seen better for free on cruise ships. Nothing I can recommend here. My friend fell asleep within 5 minutes of walking in. You also have to hand in all camera equipment including cell phones and was told they are not responsible for equipment collected or damaged. Spend your money elsewhere.
Fantasea is spectacular entertainment for the whole family or couples dating or newlyweds on honeymoon. Prepare enough time to take 100s of photos in and around the Elephant Theater! plenty of restaurants available and the buffet is great value for money!
This attraction is a nice place with lots of places to take pictures, lots of souvenir shops etc. I would have given a better rating if it wasn't for the show. While the show was great and the staff and performers were well trained, the show used too many animals, especially the elephants.
Phuket Fantasy FantaSea (parent-child tour no) I have experienced FantaSea after an hour of climbing and going down the mountain to various bends. Whether it's a parent-child tour or not, you don't have to go there. There's really nothing to see. One show needs to store a mobile phone, but it's just so-so. The buffet is so-so. The rest are all souvenir shops and paid games, em ~ After eating Buffet dried and waited for the show, but the performance was still so ordinary and had to grind until 22
