Barahi temple

if you are visiting Pokhara this is the first thing i would recommend to visit. Most lovely and peaceful area to visit and worship.

On the lake island, so I have to take a boat. It was windy and rainy today and the wind was very strong. I met 6 Indians and took a boat together. I was so happy. Although I didn't understand the meaning of this temple, it was still a very interesting experience.

The island in Lake Fava is the temple of the goddess Shakti. She is the most important symbol of Bokra. The goddess of power in the temple is the protective goddess of women. It should have been a guide earlier to feel the temple.

The Shakti Temple is located on the central island of Lake Feva, which is the most important symbol of Bokhara. We needed to take a boat to wait for the island. The four of us rented a small boat. The scenery on both sides of the Straits was very beautiful. It took about 10 minutes to reach the island. The island is small in size and there are many pigeons around the temple. According to local guides, the goddess of power, Shakti, is a female protection god, so many female sacrifices can often be seen here crossing the lake bringing many female animals and poultry to the gods. It is now an indispensable part of the local marriage ceremony.

The scale is also the size of a pavilion, but it is very famous, showing the strong appeal of the goddess Shakti in the local area. The temple is beautifully built, the bells on the top of the tower are meticulously worked, and the beasts of the temple gate are lifelike. The power of religion is unbelievable when devout Indians take off their shoes and squeeze into temples that can hold only a few people.
