This area is not as well preserved as some others but it is near the Guard's Tower. If the convicts had a miserable time, some of the officers and families didn't fair much better.

Just loved walking around and learning history about the place. You can go it yourself or have a guided 40 minute tour. Which is great with the imformation you are given
