Ninghai Bridge

Ninghai Bridge is located at the junction of Hanjiang River and Huangshi in Putian City, the mouth of the lower reaches of Mulan River. It was first built in the second year of Yuantong in the Yuan Dynasty (1334). Since the streams and seas converge here, the project is very arduous. From the Yuan to the Qing Dynasty, six constructions and six huts were built in the past 300 years. It was built for the seventh time in the tenth year of Yongzheng in the Qing Dynasty (1732), and it took 15 years to complete the construction. It is a majestic stone bridge that is as powerful as a Changhong and flying in the sky. Every year on the Dragon Boat Festival, standing on the bridge at dawn to watch the sunrise is a spectacle; the rising sun is like a big round mirror, emitting thousands of golden lights; The first day of Ninghai" is one of the "Twenty-Four Views of Putian". The bridge is now a provincial key cultural relics protection unit.
