Using a taxi to Deir el Medina was good value
The village of Deir el Medina, home of the workers who built the royal tombs KV, and their tombs are well worth the visit. Being return visitors with reasonable knowledge we simply found a taxi driver...
Fewer visitors than most burial sites
These tombs are very small but filled with such artistry. Very well preserved, they are worth a stop. Also, only a handful of visitors were here when we visited so you can take your time.
So impressed by this lesser visited site!
