Xiao Qingdao

The trip to Shandong has ended. In 7 days, I visited six cities: Jinan, Zibo, Dongying, Weihai, Yantai, and Qingdao. The time was a bit rushed, but the gains were full. Among them, I think the most beautiful city is Weihai, the most westernized city is Qingdao, the city with the most profound history is Jinan, the most niche city is Dongying, and Zibo is the most popular online celebrity city this year. Although Jinan is not as famous as Qingdao and its natural scenery is not as good as Weihai, I really like this city. It has a lot of historical heritage, with willows everywhere. It is the most Jiangnan-like city in Shandong, which can be described as 'four sides of lotus, three sides of willow, a city of mountain color and half a city of lake'. Moreover, this is the hometown of Li Qingzhao and Xin Qiji. This time I only went to Baotu Spring and Black Tiger Spring in Jinan due to limited time, and both left a good impression. Weihai is a city I have always longed for. This time I finally went to check in. Although the weather was not good, I could still feel its beauty. Driving along the coastline, the sea and sky are broad all the way. In addition to the well-known Liugong Island and Torch Eight Streets in Weihai, I think Chengshan Head is also very beautiful. Compared with the End of the World in Sanya, I think this place is more like the end of the world and the corner of the sea. Even Emperor Qin Shihuang once came here to look at the sea and seek immortality. Qingdao gives me the feeling of a very international city. The street view is beautiful, suitable for a few good friends to stroll around slowly, and then at sunset, go to the rocks on Little Qingdao and watch the sunset with a group of strangers, feeling beautiful and romantic. The most impressive thing about Yantai is the Yantai apple. This time I just passed by and stayed in the suburbs for one night, so I didn't have any special impressions. This trip to Shandong, I went to many places and the time was a bit rushed. If I have the chance next time, I will go and experience and feel it slowly.

Xiaoqingdao, one of the top ten scenic spots in Qingdao, is an isolated island 720 meters away from the coast, facing the trestle across the sea. You can take a background photo at the Shell Pavilion, and look at the sea palace, trestle and surrounding buildings on the west side of the island. Although the area is not large, it is the origin of the name of Qingdao. The scenery on the island is very beautiful, and the shape of the entire island is like a piano, with the highest altitude on the island being only 17 meters. Xiaoqingdao, a gentle island embraced and comforted by the sea, is like a never-sinking boat, leisurely floating on the sea, looking at the rise and fall of the city on the opposite shore. Xiaoqingdao, a place where you can express love, vows to the blue sky and sea as a witness, promises to accompany the red sunset forever. People who love romance like Xiaoqingdao. The island here is green, and the sea breeze is gentle. The sea water and reefs in front of you are within reach, and the distant trestle and beach are embroidered with golden lines. And those who love adventure will definitely not miss the "Eight Gorges" internet celebrity "Piano Keys on the Sea", the secret base to the sea! It's very photogenic!

You can stay near Zhongshan Road on the first day. One very convenient aspect of touring in Qingdao is that the various attractions are very close to each other, and you can walk almost the entire way. Thus, you can visit many attractions in one day and it's very relaxing. 📍Zhanqiao Pier Area: P1-P2 To see the seagulls, it's suggested to walk to the Zhanqiao Pier Area around 10 a.m. There are many professional photographers, uncles and aunties, by the seaside. If you're traveling alone, you can pay them to take photos (they have good photography skills and can guide your poses). 📍Yinyu Alley: P3-P7 Yinyu Alley has many exquisite shops, such as coffee shops, clothing stores, jewelry stores, etc. The bagels and milk sold at the coffee shop at the entrance are very delicious, and you can have a brunch here. 📍Church: P8-P9 The ticket to enter the church is 10 yuan each. 📍Signal Hill Park: P10-P11 From the top of Signal Hill Park, you can overlook parts of the city. It's recommended to take a taxi directly to the west gate entrance. Entering from the west gate allows you to reach the top of the hill the fastest. There is no fee to enter the park; however, there is a revolving staircase at the top that requires a ticket to enter. Personally, I don't recommend it, as the view from the staircase is not much different from the view outside... 📍Lu Xun Park: P12-P15 Lu Xun Park is by the seaside, where you can enjoy a deep visit. The beachside is very photogenic. 📍Qinyu Road: P16 Qinyu Road is most famous for the "Lonely Tree," which you can find by searching "Lonely Tree" on the map for navigation. You need to queue up to take photos here. There are many cafes (especially recommend Wilder) and restaurants on Qinyu Road. Through the windows of the cafes, you can directly see the sea and the sunset. Recommendations for cafes and restaurants will be covered in a separate post later. 📍Little Qingdao Park: P17-P18 There is no entrance fee for Little Qingdao Park. In fact, the entire island is quite small, and you can quickly walk around it. If you like to watch the sunset, you can also do so at Little Qingdao Park, where the view from the island is another different scenery.
