Walked the lake and stopped to cool off at the beach.
I have been a little hesitant to go to this beach. The culture has changed greatly. It’s still a great lake to walk and the water is fine.
Quietest of the lakes in the twin cities
I love to walk the lakes in Mpls/StP. This lake is much quieter and the trails are fine for biking, bladeing, running or walking. Lots of families here and little kids fishing. I grew up near Harri...
Nice lake, great running/biking, not a great swimming beach
Great spot for a stroll, run or bike ride. Beach is nice & usually pretty clean. The lake is unfortunately VERY weedy so i do not recommend it for swimming. Connected to the Bruce Vento bike trai...
Fun as a kid
Las time I was there was in the early 80's. Great memories of hanging out with friends and enjoying my youth!
Beautiful City Park
We had a picnic in the park today and enjoyed the view of the lake, the beautiful setting, public restrooms and ample parking.
